I would be lying if I told you it didn’t feel good. But that’s the problem. Sometimes we must stray away from the pleasures of the world.
Kael felt uneasy about being intimate with the stunning Vyra. Normally, that wouldn’t be an issue. He would even appreciate the chance. But another fact would not allow him to enjoy it.
Thanks to the system, he had received. Any potential relations with a woman, which would potentially turn him into a zombie. At least that’s what he believed.
I need the power, and this is the only way to get it. Well, there might be others; I should ask.
“Is there any way I can learn magic without using the… Elin method?”
“Yes, there are.”
“Shouldn’t we do that instead? This is pretty intimate, don’t you think?”
“Yes. But it will take a long time, and you will not have that.”
“Do other people use this system to improve magic? Or did you come up with this because of my situation?”
“This is unique to your situation because we already have a magical connection.” What is she talking about?
Before Kael could inquire further, Vyra pointed towards her pelvis. “Remember that you had here? I have it too; so does Elin. Because of that, if you train with either of us, you could skip some months, even years, of training.”
Oh, that’s helpful. I could abuse this to become as strong as possible. If I didn’t become a zombie in the process.
“Why are you so scared?” Vyra asked Kael a little bit suspicious of why he was hesitant. She shot up her eyes as if she had realized something. “Do you think I’m disgusting?”
“No-no. It’s not that.” Did she notice? There’s no way. I just discovered it?
Vyra’s expression was far from revealing anything, as if she had heard the grimmest story ever told. Her face showed genuine horror, her mouth slightly open, and her eyebrows trembling. She tried to speak, but it was as if the words wouldn’t come out.
“D-do you—” A pause.
Do I-I WHAT?!
“Do you like men?!” The question had left her mouth as if she were confirming whether one of her parents had died in an accident.
Ah, that’s the question? I legitimately thought it would be something serious. Actually, now that I think about it, in her situation it would probably be horrible news.
“No, no. I just noticed something in my information magic.” Kael responded, attempting to muster an uncomfortable grin.
“Then everything is fine.” She said with a sigh.
That was close. If she had discovered, I could say goodbye to long-term free will. Even then, this is a great opportunity to try out my limits and how much that “relationship bar fills.” She seems far more reasonable than Elin. If this works like a game, then it might take a while for the bar to be completely filled.
“So we should begin.” The woman walked over to him. His previous overanalysis of the situation made him forget how beautiful she was. He felt small with each step she took; despite being his height, it felt difficult to think the closer she got.
As a last effort to stay conscious, he opened the system window to check on their relationship. He quickly checked if his initial desire had any impact on the bar, but to his surprise, it didn’t. I should focus on the system tab. If I stare at her body too much, I might not be able to resist.
The thoughts about resisting, however, seemed a bit stupid. Once she was so close to his face. Her took another good look.
Flawless and smooth pale skin, her lips full and luxuriously shaped, and smooth black hair.
And at last. Eyes—deep, mesmerizing shades of violet—held an almost supernatural allure. His heart raced; once she was so close to him, he could feel his ears tingle a bit.
Give me a break.
“Look at you, so flustered.” She rested her hand on his cheek. “You weren’t lying.”
Her face approached his and met his lips for a brief kiss. For his surprise, he felt a rush of excitement surge in his body, from his head to the rest of his body. Just like he had felt with Elin.
It felt amazing; of course, she is beautiful, but there is something beyond that.
Kael pushed Vyra with euphoric breathing; her smile immediately displayed her delight.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
“It does feel good, right?” she replied. “For this to work, I need to inject my mana into you. This can make your skin and body very sensitive as a side effect.”
Kael looked at the system. It had gone up by 1 point after that quick interaction.
Calm down, it’s going to be fine. You don’t have to worry, not for now. I have to discover how impactful this 1 poi-
Before he could think, Vyra kissed him again. It was deep and warm. Her tongue slid into his mouth, swirling with his. Her hands moved down along his body, reaching his waist and holding onto it.
A comfortable feeling spread through his body. It was as if a cozy blanket wrapped around him, shielding him from the cold.
Another point for the count.
But this time, instead of worrying, he let Vyra do her tricks.
That sensation from before only increased; he felt it moving along his body. Swirling, gently twisting until it reached a specific part which worried him.
Wait, why does my crotch feel so warm? Wait, is it moving inside my pants?
Another point for the count.
He released his mouth from hers, taking another deep breath and asking Vyra.
“Is that necessary?”
“Necessary?” Kael felt something pressing against his crotch. “Is this what you speak of?”
“Yeah. That.”
“I thought you would like it.” Vyra released her hands from Kael, moving back a bit. That sensation around his pelvis vanished too. “Fine, that was enough. Overloading you with mana might do more harm than good.”
Good, if she had continued, I could’ve had some problems.
He looked at his system to find out how many relationship points he got from that brief interaction.
SOCIALS

Miria. 3 out of 100 – Level 1
Vyra. 5 out of 100 – Level 1
Elin. 10 out of 100 – Level 1
Karin. = 0 out of 100 – Level 0
Only 4 points? I see, so this type of short interaction doesn’t move the needle too much. If there are levels, I assume that each level has a different effect on me.
Wait. How does Elin have so many points? What did she do to me?!
“Snap!“
Vyra snapped her fingers, breaking his thought. “You get distracted way too often. Pay attention!”
“Sorry!” He glanced at Vyra, now realizing something else. He could finally see the strange gas again, very dim, but he could make out its silhouette surrounding the mage.
“Very well! So we can progress. This training of yours is long overdue.”
[Miria’s Perspective.]
In a well-lit and decorated room, Miria sat at a desk, flipping through some paper.
“I’m glad we have Vyra around; she’s the only one of us who has formal training with mana.”
“Yes. Having has always paid off.” In front of Miria sat another woman, legs crossed and hands in her lap. Her alluring features included dark skin, white hair, and piercing yellow eyes that resembled a snake’s. “But she is growing suspicious of you.”
“I know that. I’m not stupid. Yesterday, she bickered with me again. Honestly, I’m glad that boy appeared; it will be good to keep her mind busy.”
“Isn’t he merely a hassle for you right now?”
“Yes. At the moment, he is only a problem, but that’s a crude way of seeing things.”
“Have you considered. Discarding him?”
“Hahahaha, how heartless of you,” Miria chuckled lightly, replying. “After what you did to him last night, is that what you suggest?”
“Hmpf. I wouldn’t like to have him dead. But your goals should be the top priority; he can attract too much attention.”
“Yes, I know. When I found him, I considered that for a few seconds.” She looked up, laying her back against the chair. “But I’m not that insensitive.”
“Perhaps that is the problem.” The woman in front of Miria immediately curved her head, saying, “I’m deeply sorry, my lady.”
“Don’t worry. I feel that way about myself too.” She then stood up, circled the table, and placed her hand on Elin’s shoulder. Whispering, “If you think he will be too much of an inconvenience, go ahead and kill him. If you don’t kill him tonight, we can forget about that.”
Elin’s eyes shot down, feeling a sense of apprehension. Her fingers tangled restlessly, thumbs twisting over each other in an endless loop.
“That’s not a reaction of someone who wants to dispose of another person. I can tell from here you have absolutely no intention of warming him up.”
“There are benefits to having him around.” Elin glanced back at Miria, who had a smirk on her face. “He might join us too.”
“You don’t fool me. Regardless, I have to go out for a bit. I told him that I would punish you, but I’m not feeling up for it. I know your race sees this as a game, but tone it down a bit.”
“Yes, I shall make an effort,” Elin replied.
Miria began walking toward the door and stopped in front of it. “Tell Vyra to make the boy as strong as she can in one week. I doubt Karin can stall us for any longer than that.”
