  1. So I guess the ultimate villain in this story is the saintess?
She’s delusional, and now shamelessly feel victimised. It can’t be blamed for choosing Helios over Kaelus, but what with abandoned him after your marriage is directly related to him? I do believe that’s what our mc is mad about.
Helios is slightly better, by a narrow margin. At least he’s not delusional like his wife.
    Thanks for the chapter!

I’m not mad at Diana for trying to hide her slowly vanishing powers or saying such things to our MC, but I absolutely fucking hate her for “trying to get Kael back” and planning to ‘destroy’ the person who loves him more than anything after everything hes been put through. I’ve been in Kael’s shoes so many times and have had people like Diana in my life so towards her current actions I feel geniune resentment, a bit of fear, and a ton of disgust.

Jokes on you, God isn’t on your side anymore.

I think this might be my favourite chapter yet.

It’s like Helios said, Hestia may be the trigger, but the cracks in the relationship were inevitable because Diana is too convinced of her own self-righteousness to understand or empathize with people she’s decided are ‘bad’. While this wasn’t a problem before, as a Crown Princess and Empress, she can’t sideline her own people like that. She forgets that she has a duty to the aristocrats just as much as to the commoners. She is the leader of them ALL, she can’t just pick and choose.

The problem in their marriage is also obvious. Merope was a very important person to her husband but she couldn’t even manage that relationship. She refuses to confide in her husband, but demands blind loyalty in return. She struggles with self-reflection and loses all sense of self when questioned. She has to be ‘right’ All The Time, which is unrealistic and also tiresome for other people. She couldn’t see how she broke Helios’ trust and is instead mad that Helios questioned her at all.

Hestia is conniving and sly, but this is all Diana. And Helios is realising that his young carefree hot-headed love may simply be not suited for the responsibilities and bearing of an Empress.

Hestia also gave her the choice, she could tell him – as she should & does as ordered, let her tell him, or she could try and hide it as long as possible. Diana then asks her to keep it a secret and she would tell him in her own time or when she is ready or something along those lines.
She is rewriting history in her head now.
She really should have stayed a fling and never gone past that for either one of them. It would surprise me that part of the reason she lost her powers is she stop using them everyone and she stopped caring about everyone- so mental block/dam stopping the flow of power because she had to be right and couldn’t find compromise.

Enquanto ele pensa em proteger ela, ela já está bolando um plano para colocar um chifre nele kkkkkk grande amor o deles…. 🦬

Diana is super duper annoying. I don’t think that’s how the author designed her because Helios is turning a character development. The clouds in her head won’t probably clear soon. And really, Hestia is so cunningly smart!

shes loosing her power because shes selfish whens the last time she healed a commoner for free like the child on the road smh shes healing someone whos supposed to be dying but no one else
