Thank you so much for the translation!

By this point I’m kind of disappointed that the drama of Diana and Helios still takes the spotlight. I wish the author could’ve given more attention to our Hestia and Kaelus, especially the emotional development of the two.

The first 60-70% of the story was so good, the love was beautiful and the attention to healing was heartwarming. However, the dynamics and psychological changes of our MCs were rushed and even omitted in the last few chapters. And her transgressor identity has yet to be revealed.

I really loved how Kaelus and Hestia communicated in the first part, concise but always honest and to the point, subtle yet sufficient. Now the exchange of the two is just filler-like. It’s sweet but lacking.

I hope there’ll be more Kael’s POV in the side stories. I’ve enjoyed the novel very much. And thanks for the translator’s hard work!

I’m reading the Manwha and I think it has already brought up Kael’s attachment/fondness of Hess much earlier in the story, though still quite subtle, which is good. There’s some other improvements as well. And it’s sooo funny and cute. The portrait of Kael is right on. I love it so much. Highly recommend.

omg i came here to read the novel after reading the available chapters of the manhwa!! and you’re right…kael is already fond of hestia thought it’s really subtle. it’s so cute!! and i agree with what u said about their interactions being sweet but somehow lacking….

“perhaps hestia would remain eternally in helios’ longing. It’s a secret he wouldn’t tell anyone”
oh my god…..this just make me sad ngl i kind of want to know how it’d be like if the story was about hestia and helios

  3. i seriously believed that diana didnt love helios geniunely even in the beginning, but helios did love her….helios did a lot of compromising, even if he is the crown prince,…he is the one who always stepped low for diana,….it was diana who was too proud (though she is commoner), she seemed to forget that she only a human being given a favor to heal people,….she chose helios for his position (obviously), even at the end, she is still selfish and proud,…she never admitted any mistakes…and even questions the situation like it is strange….she knows nothing about resposibility

Thank you so much for translating this novel. I liked the manhwa and wanted to get more details. I’m glad the story didn’t get into a trope where Helios and Diana reconcile and be happy.
I think Helios is a charming character but he’s manipulative and selfish. Diana would have had a better life staying in the temple. She was not fit due to her rigid thinking from the church’s demagoguery to be a Crown Princess or Empress. That was selfish of Helios too. Diana returning to the temple was the best pending for her. I’m glad the author made this decision.

Helios may be manipulative but hess is no better she was hellbent on destroying them because of the pain she felt when losing Kael and her life. She could have gone about it a different way for sure but the whole plot revolved on revenge. Hess was crafty and while she did good things all of it had ulterior motives. All of it was to take the power from the temple that supported Diana and took advantage of Kael’s generosity. Yes it did benefit the people the temple was corrupt but again her motives were based on undercutting. She used her insight to the future to change things in a way that would benefit Kael while hurt Helios and Diana. I had hoped Diana would’ve reconciled with Helios. I think he deserved better, considering he recognized his faults. Kael, after reading the parts where he was intimate with Hestia, just made me dislike his character, he became kinda boring because it felt so incompatible to how he was originally idk that’s just me. I think Hess is a bit of a hypocrite she in a way played with other people’s lives and feels no remorse for it like it has nothing to do with her.

Perhaps hestia would remain in helios longing. Its a secret he wouldnt tell anyone. Omy god this makes me sob fr I really hope his new wife loves him dearly 😭

I’m still hoping for Diana’s character development but i think it’s really better for them to part ways. Differences can be covered up when dating but just as it said, they’ll become a sharp weapon in marriage. And I am also one of the people who truly believes that relationship is not only consist of love but something much more than that (I can’t even find a word but something like what hestia did to kael’s, she became someone who he can lean on through dark times). But in comparison to hestia and kael’s dynamic, Diana and Helios is too much of a contradictory. Diana is stubbornly sticking to a narrow view, like a stone that can’t absorb anything, isn’t flexible and too righteous that it becomes hypocrisy, she’s a saintess afterall, church and government is like oil and water. On the other hand, Helios is the crown prince, he is completely bound to his birth responsibility, love is not a usual option in these kind of position as he needed someone capable who can truly help him shoulder a whole empire, be with him through dark times, government is changeable, Diana is never an option looking in a logical view, she’s immature, can’t accept criticism and never consider other people’s views

My comment may seem to against diana but it’s all true, and to be honest it may really be quite biased because my views align more with helios, plus he had immediately apologized when he realizes it but diana was given so much chances but choose to stall cause of stubbornness. But they both have a fair share of bad aspects, helios is not a trustworthy lover but and most of emperor’s character is always like that but on the brighter side he did tried his best and did love Diana. And Diana, she’s extremely frustrating and has a bad and crooked mindset but I don’t think she is really evil (she did once say that she wanted hestia dead and I’m not gonna comment cause I’m in no position as everyone may have atleast once wished someone is dead in moment of anger) she truly cares for emperor as he is someone who have been her shield, well, that’s her good thing but she’s really quite simple and easy to predict, aside from her appearance and her power (+her kind personality in the og) there’s nothing that can qualify her as a suitable female lead

Wow. I never expected Helios to really like Hess. Strange because I feel giddy reading about it. Lol! I wish he’d find a woman who will truly love and care for him, and that he’ll love back eventually. *Sighs*
