  1. I am basically living life for the moment Kael realises that Diana is a trashbucket and that he had feelings for a person that didn’t exist (aka someone who’s actually fun, pure and righteous instead of a unfunny, self-righteous, pompous idiot!). I can’t wait for that moment. He deserves the closure.

I expect he wants hestia stay by his side as the answer. That’s also the trigger why he ask hestia to hold his hand before sleep, he’s slowly attached to his wife, move on and heals his trauma. But, I hate how the writer portrayed his development 🙁

I also hate how they portrayed Kael… I came from the manhwa and they way they portrayed him was wwwaaaayy better, in the novel it doesn’t really seem like he’s forgetting his feelings for Diana..💀💀 and wdym he was happy when she was talking to him… 😟

I am not fond of Kael right now. Bringing up your ex love while simultaneously wanting to spend time with someone you’re falling for.

I just want Hes to be with someone who loves her just as much as she loves them. and right now, Kael isn’t it.

I think about it in different way. From this point, Cael is quite cold towards Diana. As much as Hestia doesn’t want to hide her meeting with Heli, Cael also doesn’t want to hide his meeting with Diana (plus Hestia asked about it the night before). Well, I had seen several times, problem occurs when other person tell us that our partner meet with opposite sex. That may lead into bigger trouble than we tell our partner immidiately.

Well, I don’t. He tells Hestia everything he felt about their situation, and we all know how Hestia handles it all, how she saw things. Kael acting like that is because he really wanted her to be his companion, from his pov, it’s the right thing to do. What, does we want him to still treat her coldly? He’s thinking about her future while she clearly doesn’t have a plan. He’s being considerate not because he finally loves her but because he treats her as a companion, a wife if I may say. And in his pov, what? He’s going to find a new lover when he’s already married with a good woman?
That’s why the slow burn romance is understandable.

Wait a minute, I still don’t understand what Helios’ gaze at Hestia means? Is he starting to be interested in Hestia??

I came from the lastest manhwa chapter, I think the manhwa downplayed MLs feelings for the OgFL a lot and exaggerated his feelings for the MC a lot… that destroyed my ship a little lol it’s more realistic but less romantic, a bit bittersweet and sad. Hess had to not only remember the novel but watch by his side while his feelings for the OgFL are still very strong, to the point he gets sick just for seeing her and talking to her, and is happy to talk to her again even after everything, and says all this to Hess own his own… it’s too sad, now I wish she could just go back to her world in the end

at this point, maybe because I’m not a fan of slow burn, I’m getting kind of tired. Hestia “fan” like feelings about Kaelus that are not far from those you feel for an idol you like and Kaelus demeanor that portraits how he kind of think about Hestia as a commodity. He emphasized how he doesn’t want her to be like his past self but at the end he takes advantage of her love to sick comfort. I can’t even see them turning this in an actual love relationship in the chapters that are left.
Aside from this, I feel like the author kind of like Helios more, or ships them both a little bit, while talking about Kaelus is like “cool, Greek god statue, the best”, make Hestia’s interaction with Helios when she writes “beautiful face, lonely sinking gold” look like more romantic inclined.
After all the novels I’ve read this is the one that makes me more troubled.
